I was playing the new Risk on Steam and had one main complaint with it (besides how slow it was). It was the exact same UI for the phone put on a laptop screen. The issue I have with this is that when playing a game on the phone, your fingers can move to any part of the screen quite quickly. However, when playing on the computer, I have to move my mouse to get anywhere. This gets quite tiring when you are moving all around the screen to hit different buttons. There need to be both clear keyboard shortcuts and a UI that is focused on a PC user. A perfect example of something that works on a phone that doesn't work on a PC is the slider for the number of troops to move or place. The very concept of swiping does not exist on a PC but is perfect for a phone. This could be changed to a slider and manual number input.

Those steps are: Turning off camera animations reduces the time taken to conquer each country drastically. Using blitz rolls (the glowing dice) to conquer territories in one roll rather than using individual 'slow rolls' also speeds things up! Good ideas get reused all the time here in the magical world of video games. Some of these sources are even of the dice and plastic figure variety, like Risk. Taking a board game classic and spiffing it up for its online debut should have been cake, but developer Cyberlore's Risk: World Domination drops the ball and just stares at it laying there. The only Risk you run with this game is if someone gets it for you as a present and loses the receipt.

As it stands now, if a player quits the computer takes over and plays at a level that often exceeds the original player by a longshot. This not only rewards the player who quit but also penalizes the players who have not. This is unfair gameplay as I assume losing to a computer on steroids that has taken over for a low caliber player still negatively affects your player ranking. Please figure out a way to penalize the player who quits and not those who stick around to deal with the consequences. HOW TO VOTE FOR THIS FEATURE? Tap the 'Do you like this idea?' below
