Neither scary nor funny, The Haunted Mansion is as lifeless as the ghosts in the movie.

Nereyda Jaimes it was funny a great family movie to watch with the kids Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/29/23 Full Review Benjamin S It’s first act was mostly dialogue and didn’t really make an effort to establish strong enough emotional motivation, display enough ghostly mischief, or meaningful character interactions. The second act feels like filler. The most it attempts to be entertaining in the first two thirds is a few cgi moments and relying on Tiffany Haddish doing Tiffany Haddish schtick. It becomes actually entertaining after the first hour. Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/17/23 Full Review FAN It was fun to be swept away into this movie and never think about anything else! Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/11/23 Full Review denise b This was a great family movie! I really enjoyed it. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/06/23 Full Review Dale R Based on the theme park attraction of the same name and starring Eddie Murphy as a real estate agent that gets caught in a ghostly plot. For a horror/comedy I was not scared nor did I laugh during the run time of this film. Even the jump scares did nothing to me. The script does nothing to allow Murphy to utilize his improv comedy style. The ending is not satisfying and I’m not even sure what triggered the downfall of the villain. I did appreciate the references to the theme park ride, and there were many including some hidden Mickeys. Just like with the Country Bears, I think there is potential for a good movie based on this ride, it just isn’t this one, skip it! Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/07/24 Full Review Ben A This Is definitely a early 2000s classic. It's a great watch for the whole family covered in adult humour Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/05/24 Full Review Read all reviews
